Seattle Rehab Specialists is great! After a knee injury I went from PT to PT and felt like I was making no progress, one even left me feeling worse somehow. SRS was my 4th try to get some real help and thank goodness I finally found them! I worked mainly with Cheyenne Siverly, who was fantastic; thoughtful, knowledgeable, and she really listened and responded to my specific goals and needs. I wanted to get dancing again and she really helped me get there and gave me a ton of tools to take home with me and keep myself sorted. She also wears the coolest earrings. I had occasion to work with a couple of the other PTs when my schedule didn’t work with Cheyenne’s and each of them offered me a similarly good experience along with their fresh perspective and additional great tools. On top of that the scheduling staff was so kind and helpful when I had a last minute challenge making an appointment. Even though I wasn’t always able to be with Cheyenne, I never felt like I was being bounced around. They all communicate really well with each other, appear to have great respect for each other, and make sure to check in with you personally and connect. (The place before them gave me some random new person almost every appointment, each of whom never seemed to have a clue what was going on with me.)
Cheyenne Siverly
Biography: Cheyenne was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska where she decided she wanted to become a physical therapist at the age of 17. After high school, Cheyenne attended UH Mānoa in Honolulu, Hawai’i, where she lived for three years, and spent the summers traveling abroad. Cheyenne attended UW for physical therapy school and felt right at home in rainy Seattle. She spent her last year of physical therapy school in various clinical rotations in Seattle, where she had her first experience at SRS. Cheyenne fell in love with the clinic values, Applied Functional Science (AFS), the patients, and the community and was able to land her dream job straight out of physical therapy school.
Since starting at SRS, Cheyenne has received her certification of Applied Functional Science as well as multiple certifications in dry needling. She hopes to continue learning throughout her career, and is open to finding more passions in the field. Cheyenne’s physical therapy philosophy is to provide culturally responsive care that is individualized, functional, and salient. She is passionate in creating a safe space for her patients to grow, recover, and to learn about their body.
In her free time, Cheyenne enjoys weightlifting at the gym, finding new hobbies, traveling, and trying new restaurants with her partner. Her family visits often from Alaska, and she travels up North when she can. She also enjoys just spending time at home with her Holland lop bunny, Mr. Peach.
Cheyenne would like to honor and recognize the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People. She acknowledges that she would not have access to this living and working environment without them and this land. She encourages support of the Duwamish Tribe, as they have yet to be justly compensated for their land, resources, and livelihood.
